  Hello Lincoln Families,    This Friday we will have our traditional 4th-grade "Read-In" to begin March Reading Month! Students can bring in snacks (see the safe snacks list below), clear drinks, a stuffed animal, blanket, pillow, and lots and lots of their favorite books! I let the students know on Friday and they are really looking forward to it!       Next week Trimester two report cards go home! Students will be taking the final unit tests in math and science, along with reading and writing assessments. Please try to have your child in school if possible so I can finish collecting the data for the reports. I also want to remind you that if your child receives a 1 or 2 in any area, practice for those goals will continue in the classroom and in some cases at home. In conclusion, if you did not have a spring student-led conference, I encourage you to meet with your child to go over their presentation goal slides.   Hello Lincoln Families, Thank you for all the help we had this week from home! Our snow day last Monday was sensational! Thank you for sending in snow gear and snow items to make it so enjoyable for our class. The hot chocolate was delicious! Our class also made creative "heart collages" while eating the delicious snacks the committee sent in for us. A special thank you to the committee for the hot chocolate and food items. Just a reminder our 4th graders will be swimming this Wednesday, February 23rd. The bus will depart at 9:35. Wednesday is a Late Start day, so please be on time. The bus will leave promptly at 9:35.
