Hello Lincoln Families, We had 100% attendance at the student-led conferences! I was so proud of all of our student's presentations. This type of goal-setting conference takes a considerable amount of preparation. Coming up with goals in academic and behavioral areas for most students, at this age, is a first-time experience. We took a great deal of class time to brainstorm and reflect on appropriate goals for each student. In addition to writing out the goals students had to present them to an audience of adults. Again, for many students, this was a first-time experience. This type of goal-setting student-led conference holds students, (teachers, and parents) accountable and allows them to take ownership of what they are currently able to do and what areas still need to be worked on at home and in the classroom.  Student academic/behavior goals will be updated as often as needed throughout the year. Thank you for your continued support

The results (almost 100%) wanted a movie, game and to do Halloween Art Hub! Students can change into their costumes after lunch or wear their costumes to school. No masks or accessories are to be worn during the school day but can be worn during the parade. We have a parent committee that signed up to send in food. It should be a low-key but fun party!
